Old Cove Press is a small literary press based in Lexington, Kentucky. Founded in 1999 by Nyoka Hawkins and Gurney Norman, Old Cove focuses on poetry, fiction, and art from Kentucky and its surrounding region.

Old Cove currently offers three titles by Kentucky poet Frank X Walker, recipient of the 2005 Lannan Literary Fellowship for Poetry (http://www.lannan.org/): Affrilachia (2000), Walker's groundbreaking first book of poetry, now in its sixth printing; and Walker's collection of poems Black Box (2006). Black Box continues the personal and autobiographical journey of Affrilachia with sixty eight poems from Walker. We are pleased to announce the release of his latest book, Isaac Murphy: I Dedicate This Ride.
